I provide AI advisory to help people choose the right direction early and avoid costly outcomes.
People come to me at decision points where AI, tools, people, or systems are involved and the cost of getting it wrong is high.I assess the situation, surface faulty assumptions about what AI can and cannot do, and help determine the course that is appropriate - including what should be pursued, what should wait, and what should be avoided. The emphasis is on sound judgment early, to prevent delay, rework, exposure, and avoidable downstream risk.
My role is advisory. I focus on assessment, direction, and decision-making, and I step out once execution is ready to begin. Directional advisory · Decision support · No execution work.
In the beginning, though? I made the same mistakes I now help others avoid. This isn’t theory. These are real shifts that changed everything for me:
1. Treating AI Like a Mind Reader
Then: I assumed if I gave AI a general topic, it would know exactly what I meant.
Now: I set the direction clearly. I prompt with intent. The better the input, the sharper the outcome.
🔁 Prompt Shift:
“Write a post on business growth.” ⛔
“Here’s the outcome my reader wants, the tension they feel, and the mindset holding them back. What’s a powerful way to frame that in a 3-part post?” ✅2. Trying to Use AI to Replace the Hard Work
Then: I hoped AI could shortcut the work of refining ideas, making decisions, or discerning strategy.
Now: I use it to accelerate my thinking, not avoid it. Knowledge still takes work.
🙏 Insight:
AI doesn’t give me discernment. That still comes from the Lord.
What it can do is make space by clearing the clutter.3. Over-Explaining in Prompts (and Getting Nonsense Back)
Then: I’d shove everything into one long prompt, hoping to get the perfect output.
Now: I break things into steps. I build a thread of logic with short, sharp inputs.
🧠 Mindset Shift:
It's about structuring the thinking for AI, not around it.
➕ Plus 3 Bonus Shifts:From post-it notes to prompts, from scattered ideas to structured systems, I share how I actually use AI now (and what I’d never do again).+You can read the full resource below — no email required.
